NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Warner Bros. 5437) Out of Los Angeles, this 1964 release was produced by Barry Mann and written by he and his wife, Cynthia Weil. With a backing track arrangement in the style of Jack Nitzsche and right out of the 'Phil Spector Sound' instruction manual, this non-hit obscurity is one of Joanie's best.

  • Great song! I'm surprised this wasn't a bigger hit! Joanie has a great voice and this again is a great song!

  • At the time, even though she appeared on many variety shows, and a staple at concerts and in nightclubs, Joanie was better known for her Pepsi radio/TV commercial vocals than records such as this, 'Mike'. And keep in mind that The Beatles were dominating the pop charts at the time this was originally issued- this one barely climbed up the "Top 100".

  • Just unbelievable she wasn't acknowledged more by the media.

  • And this too should have been a hit. Great girl group sound. Hints at Skeeter Davis's pop hits. Listen up !!

  • She has a beautiful voice! Simple, clean and fun!
