Well, I'm glad know people are willing to come help me if I'm stupid enough to have ventured out in that kinda weather.....I have only been out in waves like that once, just to see if my boat could do it ..... It could, I couldn't ..... Thanks for the video.

Great video, I realised through the video that I was holding my breath, bracing myself for the next big hit! Haha!

Large waves usually come in sets and you will get opportunities between the trough when you spot them. Fortunately once we rounded Race Rocks towards Victoria, it was almost flat so we didn't have any issues and made our turn there, after doing a shoreline search.
