fbferrari1875 I think you are an idiot or perhaps didnt get the point. I was there, sitting in sec 518...the jets emerged from nowhere...it was an awesome and unifying experience. We felt connected to baseball each other, and to somethign greater...freedom. Pilots came out during the 7th too. Sometimes you have to show what you have to appreciate it fully. Way better than appreciating something once its gone (like that stupid pave paradise song). Thanks for posting. Play Ball!

My friend, when you get your information and for your opinions about the military from the lyrics of a song sung by a musician such as Sheryl Crow, "ill informed" is the first thing that comes to my mind and probably everyone else who just read your post. I like to listen to Sheryl Crow sing, (love the song: All I wanna do is have some fun) but that is where I draw the line... talented musician, but expert on military, not so much.

To fbferrari1875 - Every time a Navy Pilot takes a jet up it is a training exercise. Pilots have to fly to remain proficient. Whether they fly over cities, sea, desert, they have to keep their hours up. If they don't then they aren't prepared to defend our cities or troops when the time arises. This is one such opportunity and you only see it in a negative light. You must have felt very smug when you posted your remark, but you just came across as ill-informed.

Hay fbferrari1875....... What the Hell is wrong with supporting our troops and loving the so called "war machines that protect the war machines." Yes I think Iraq was a mistake but there is still soldiers in Afganistan.... So how about you shut the hell up or you can trade places with them and you can be over there!!!
