@naylorba actually, they closed for a bit, then moved to a different theatre (the Orbach). But the show did run for decades in its original space on Sullivan St.

Wow...they are/were performing at the Jerry Orbach theatre? What a perfect place to have it running, considering Jerry Orbach was the original El Gallo.

i cant see wut i wrote but i dont think i wrote anythin sayin i was above this. i like this play i jst wanted to know if it was the longest running. if i offended it was unintentional.

it really was the longest-running musical in the world. no show has played continuously for 3 decades on broadway. sometimes, people's ignorance is annoying especially if they act way above their worth.
