What do you suppose Tarpley is referring to? The American System, best demonstrated by the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton and (most recently) FDR.

No.. It doesn't make any sense to me. He's got far too much faith in government.
Governments can't run innovative competitive manufacturing companies. Nor do they know who's best to run them.
Nationalization of auto companies doesn't work. You end up with half baked products that nobody wants and which cost a fortune.
The more I listen to him the more he sounds like a communist and communism doesn't work economically.
Besides..none of this is going to happen.

New Deal "FDR" economics. It can (and has) worked. This has nothing whatsoever to do with communism or socialism. What Tarpley is referring to is the American System (see George Washington, Lincoln, Clay, Hamilton, JFK).
