  • Alex, thank you for directing me here by advertising this on that other video about the truce of 1914. These words you've written and spoken are incredible and insightful. My hat's off to you, sir. Just imagine what all those men on 1914 could have accomplished if their goals were all the same and they had not been lead astray by pseudo-philosophers.

  • @HelmetUnsung Thank you for the kind words! Currently turning it into a theatrical piece and doing much research on it! So many fascinating stories surrounding the piece and not many people know really what happened. They just think of the football match. Anyway, thank you for the kind words!

  • I've not been exposed to a detailed history on the First World War as the history lessons in my country focused on our own country almost exclusively. So this is a very educational piece for me, and brilliantly written , if I must say. Thank you for posting this up.

  • @alexgwyther Can you believe that this happened almost 100 years ago? Every time I think that, I just wanna cry really. Not even a single WWI alive today makes me even sadder.
