Glen Beck Hypnosis, Brainwashing or Plain fainting

There was an element that was funny in this video because the gentleman turned out to be ok.

But when i watched it i was amazed at the incredible Hypnosis going on.
This is really good stuff !
I could not teach it any better...and i am a trainer in Hypnosis and NLP

I will give you a little lesson on hypnosis and how it works...this is CLASSIC hypnosis!

@jmaxman777 You Could be right...... a drop in Blood sugar puts folks in an altered state pretty fast and that's all that is needed to be wide open to hypnotic suggestions.

Its one of the reasons Paramedics are taught to be very careful at what they say when helping people who have just had a trauma.

at minut 3,25 he says: used to be stable but now it´s not. It is 100 % hilarious to call that hypnotic or a subliminal suggestion. Not is used for negative patterns; but the unconsious does not process the word not. Plus the metaphoric load of stable would make people feel quite stable and steady.

I would more think that this man already had some weak spots and that the coincidentally given suggestions made him faint.

based on your logic your unconscious doesn't recognize the word "not" and you would involuntarily cross the road in front of him???

Yeah well 1 out of 4 is so suggestible that their unconsious tells them to really cross the road. They often have the intention to do that. And HALF of these 25% then again would be so criminal that they would never ever appreciate to obey, and that is exactly the 10 to 15 % that is criminal. So all policemen should study NLP if they had the opportunity. The least thing it would do was taking away a lot of anger.

The pattern interrupt at the end is especially interesting. The context is completely inappropriate for a random handshake and it was then when Glenn said, "Wanna sit down?" Very interesting. Unfortunately the beauty with hypnosis and language is that it's almost impossible to say whether this was intentional or not. My idea is that this guy was prepared before hand with suggestions etc. Who knows? Interesting nontheless
