NS 350 follows Amtrak 80 into Raleigh as it passes Royal St. This train was led by an ex-Conrail SD40-2 with a loud horn, a Catfish, and a BNSF Dash 9.

  • THAT Is what a S-3L-R should sound like

  • That horn is is great shape. Conrail lives on.

  • NOW THAT"S A AWESOME LASHUP!!

  • THAT IS A LESLIE RS-3L ANS IT ROCKS!!

  • Actually they are exactly the same horn they just have different power chambers. Many S-3L horns were rebuilt with RS power chambers as they are more reliable. Both have the Leslie 25, 31 and 44 bells and sound the same Leslie L chord.

  • I know thats why I said relatively! LOL, they're ..kind of.. the same. At least both ways it still sounds good.

  • I know but still, relatively the same.

  • Whatever, close enough.

  • Oh yeah. Thats an awesome horn.

  • i just saw those locos at the yard
