We kinda go "Captain Chesapeake" here in DC (whenever the weather was right and our 'rabbit ears' were tuned properly. Just like our own Captain 20, Captain Chesapeake kept kids smiling with his between cartoon bumpers and stories. (Sadly, I only wish our 'rabbit ears' allowed me to catch Richmond's "Bowman Body", but that's the way it was before cable and digital, kiddies!). I also caught CC on Sunday Nights as "The Ghost Host"--damn that was a great movie show!! Thanks from this DC Kid!

@Diesel3640 The piece of music is "Stumbling," by the Three Suns; however, the track was sped up via phonograph speed setting when it aired on the Captain's program. It had originally been recorded on an LP at 33 1/3 rpm, but played here at 45 rpm.
For those not familiar with phonograph records and turntables, these had been the 20th-century forerunners to CD's and iPods, and the like. Sorry if I alienated anyone here. :)

Thank you to whoever posted this video. Capt Chesapeake was something I looked foward to watching when I was a child growing up in the 70's. Nice to see him again. I would love to see clips of Mony the seamonster and Bruce the bird
This was my favorite back in the day. The Captain always kicked off my afternoon in Baltimore. Mony the seamonster and Bruce ,those were the days.
