A 1905 re-recording of a #1 hit for Sousa's Band in 1903. The song was also a #1 hit for J.W. Myers in 1902, and #3 for William Redmond in 1902. It was a #1 hit for the Haydn Quartet in 1903, as well as Sousa's Band. Introduced by Blance Ring in "The Defender". Written by George Evans and Ren Shields.

Also, writing the descriptions underneath the videos, where people need to click "Show more" to see all the info., takes the most time of all (research, etc, I don't copy and paste descriptions from Wikipedia like some do). This is a wonderful rendition. The record was also recorded by Billy Murray and was released by Edison under the same serial number as William Redmond's recording.
