  • Your right ... it is a quarter squat. Please tell me how functional a half squat is? When do you do a half squat in sports or activities of daily living. If you prefer to deteriorate your patellofemoral joint and stress the femoral condyles and meniscus, by all means go deeper. Unfortunately, the industry has people with absolutely no medical background performing ridiculous ex's and dangerous depths. I see athletes in my facility for injuries from trainers who make them go deeper.

  • @wgamayhem if your knees pass your toes when you go into a deep squat that just means you lack flexibility.

  • @dchen345 you say what a joke but i dont think you know much about knees and injury to knees.....there is no reason to ever squat deep so your knee passes the tip of your toes, once you go beyond your toes you are just putting unnecessary stress on the knee itself.

  • This isn't even a half squat. What a joke. I've been on a BOSU ball and I know a single leg squat is hard but there's absolutely no depth in the demonstration.
