ACID TEST: The Global Challenge of Ocean Acidification is a documentary that explores the phenomenon of ocean acidification, which may challenge marine life on a scale not seen for tens of millions of years. The film, featuring Sigourney Weaver, will air on Discovery Planet Green throughout Blue August, a month devoted to programming about the wonders and mysteries of the oceans.

I love Sigourney Weaver. She was on a tv show to talk about acid test and the guy kept on bugging her about avatar, avatar. Sigourney just stops and goes, "listen, i can come back in december to talk about avatar, but i want to talk about something more important, acid test." I swear the look on that man's face...slap!

Clearly what we need is for the entire population to be behind these "Green" ideas, but the sad truth is that it's highly unlikely we wont until we've done damage that everyone sees rather than reading or hearing about.
