I hate Mac so much, but I am stuck with it and iMovie for the next month, so I have a few questions.. How do I get the transition to work? I dropped it in the middle of two clips but nothing, it just skips over it.. If I do a mouse over it the transition wills how on the preview thing. Even if I try to change the duration to 10 seconds it doesn't help. also how do I put textures onto the clips?

When I add Title and inspector pops up, I have No Fade in/out slider.
I'm using iMovie 9 version 8.6

@WazzaAussiePictures Not sure, but make sure you are dragging it to the Project clip and not the "Event" window clip. Also, make sure the clip you are dragging it onto is long enough for the title.

on my mac, i'm trying to make a video. one of my videos is about 7:00 long. at first, when i would put the clip into my timeline, that whole video would show up in short scenes. then all of a sudden, it showed the whole video in one clip. how do i change it back? PLEASE ANSWER!

@AlexisV21 I suspect that you need to drag the slider bar over a little more to view more thumbnails for the clip. Both the Events window and project window has one of these (you can learn more with my demonstration in Episode 104 of Ask the Techies -D.Lee
