Well, most people don't have the knowledge or wherewithal to properly use pharmaceuticals that are as potentially harmful as are most AASs. They can be used to some benefit, but most drugs in the class are going to harm users in the long term. The ones that are least toxic are generally not popular. As far as personal prerogative goes, controlled substances are controlled because their recreational use poses a public health risk.

Steroids are not as bad as people make them seem, steroids are used in the medical field as medication for many illnesses, who is to say someone cannot use them to better their physique for fitness. What someone does to their body is their perogative, no one should have to judge them for wanting to enhance their body. It is no different than a student taking speed to ace a test, or a person taking a red bull to enhance their energy, or an overweight person using Hydroxycut to shed weight.

First of all, you are all mistaken.

Steroids come in all types of methods, there a pills, injectibles, lotions, etc.

A woman does not need to "shoot up" in order to get the way Mrs. Savell was, it takes a very (VERY) low fat, low carb diet and lots of heavy weights but not necessarily need the use of steroids.

I am beginning my diet as a fitness competitor and my boyfriend is a heavy class body builder who has been competing for about 3 years; so I know what I'm talking about.

1st of all, DorianGabriello:he wasnt her husband, they were dating. 2nd ofall captainrhodes83:fitness & figure competitors DO do steriods as well as ppl in the bodybuilding category. Some do, some dont,its THEIR OWN CHOICE &im no one to judge.we shouldnt care if amanda did them or not,she had agreat career going and looked great. & not all ppl who deal roids are bad ppl, yes it is dealing drugs,however, you cant judge them by saying they're ALL bad. im not stickng up for jacobs by any means tho

Im sure she also got shot because of her husband...it was definitely a steroid drug thing.. im sure..because nobody like her gets shoots like that..man what a tradegy i feel sorry for her she did not deserve such destiny..

She worked hard she didn't deserve to die. Don't be so cold hearted people. Show some respect for the dead. She was muscular but not overly muscular. She was a fitness competitor not a bodybuilder so I doubt she did steriods.
