This is how bad the gameplay is for many people who play Star Wars: The old Republic.

Play on fullscreen and watch the bottom left corner to see how terriable my fps is with no other players around.

Playing on a quad core processor with 8 gigs of ram and a NVIDIA 560 video card.

  • @Talven81

all self fixes have been tried.

This is not my first issue with the game that is server side.

Running a quad core processor with 8 gigs of ram, and GTX 560 video card with 2 gigs of DDR5. Also running under Windows 7, 64 bit.

  • Don't tell him to get a better computer when you know nothing about graphics cards obviously... he has a GTX 560, a card that should be able to run this game smoothly with no problems at all, and yet he and countless others are having FPS issues, even with top end rigs. Just look at the forums, there are topics with thousands of posts relating to this issue.

  • Bioware: U buy nu compooter now! Mao! Mao! Mao! Mao! <slap scene from The Deer Hunter.

  • You guys realize saying "I have a quadcore cpu" is like saying "My GPU has 2GB DDR5 memory!"

Yeah, big fucking whoop. That means shit all in terms of actual processing power. I mean yes, quadcores are faster than single/dual, but that doesn't mean they're all equivalent.

  • Damn dude...you went 50 levels of shit fps. That must've been hair-pulling. >.<

  • Love how people keep thinking it's your computer's fault.

It's not. My GTS 250 GPU, dual core @ 3GHz CPU can run this piece of trash smoothly, mostly because I keep my task list clean. A quad would be more than enough, IF ONLY the developers actually bothered testing for compatibility.

    .

The game is a mess. It chews up unnecessary memory and CPU, it doesn't clean up after itself, it was basically designed on a high-end machine with no regard for the majority of the medium rigs out there today.

  • Well... I feel you pain but you made it to 50! So that's good.

  • @danny0587rs I have a dual core cpu and ATI Radeon HD 6750 i run this at 60+ fps fleet warzones and ilum , i think devs need to sort this game out

  • @Talven81 You're still using garbage to play things on? Weird.

  • ive got a GeForce 550 ti, Windows 7 64 bit, Sabertooth P67 motherboard, i7 with 8 cores of 3.4 GHz, 8 RAM of memory and 500 GB of Hard Drive and i run on 50-70 FPS with max graphics settings on all the settings

  • @Chokeasmurf47 There is obviously something wrong with his machine. I get Higher Fps than that during 100v100 battles on ilum.. He should look into his issue. Its not 100% the games fault.

  • @nervecentral Hey, I Have litterally the same rig as you haha and i was just wondering before i buy this how much fps and what graphics setting are you on?
