@Pompinomo why is everyone watching this video so incredibly high strung? This is only one of Vai's works, so you cant judge all of his years of music on this 6 minute video. He has some incredible music and incredible soloing. he doesnt make it a crazy mechanical solo just for the sake of it. i dont get that out of this at all. it sounds melodic, and extremely well-crafted.

and i dont think i'm "mister know it all". I'm just trying to listen to some tunes.

@Guitarmazdur Duuh .. really??? Music was never about what kind of instrument you use, it´s about how you use it. All I could see is just a show off, some people can´t even make a decent melody, so they go on making any mecanical solo just for the sake of it.
