I played this for my iPod, so I know a little bit about it. I will say that it's definately not as good as some other sonic games, because it had too much original 4 sonics, but I do have to say that it is EXACTLY like the originals, besides the homing attack. And if there is, and you don't like it, DON'T USE IT! It is yet another sonic game of the bunch, but this one is different. This one, while playing it, reminded me of the classics.

@JoeyTheKid101 I agree, it sounds ridiculous. Although I am a Sonic fan too, I'm a rather casual one. That is, by comparison to the people b*tchin' about green eyes, and I LOVED Sonic Generations (especially considering it was my first Sonic game). Compared to these lunaitcs, I'm Yoda.

what is wrong with sonic's new look? it never bothered me from the gameplay and his green eyes actually look cool. of course i like the classic sonic look more but modern sonic is pretty cool too.

why people bitch about green eyes? it never bother me at all...i probably never notices the difference on the eyes from sonic 1 but it still don't bother me at all.

@iLouis199 I haven't played the game myself, but I've seen a good amount of videos and been in a lot of forums threads about it. To me, if the game is bad for anything, it isn't the eye color, or the physics, it just focused so much on being the classic games rather then being new. Think of how the game could've been if it were just being a new sonic game altogether, with nice features and even stage sequences like the truck from SA2.

I seriously can't take the fanbase anymore. When this game was announced all I heard was, "SOWIK HAS GWEEN EYES! THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVAR!" The fanbase has got to stop. I bet they're still people complaining about Generations by saying its not sonic because it has "HD graphics." I've even heard people say that they wished Sega would make a 16bit 2D sonic game instead of Sonic 4. Now when Sonic CD got a remake people complained about the timeline, AND questioned why Tails was playable. WHAT!?!
