I based the design of my steam engine on the steam engines at this Dave Goodfellow's website. (Search for goodfellow and steam engine and you will find it).

My engine is a single cylinder version of his 'Siamese Twins'.

hi, i had a look at the plans but i cant see where the exhaust is? how does the exhaust work?

how do you exhaust the old air???

In the very last scene of the video that shows the back end, you will see a small rod moving in and out of the end of the cylinder. This rod vents the cylinder to the outside on the exhaust stroke and the air escapes through that hole.

no es funcional, pues ademas de un motor de arranque(ELECTRICO) es demasiado ruidoso, y el proveedor de aire (tanque )deberia ser demasiado grande.

i have seen those adapted to Lego pneumatics and it works very well!
