This video honors Bill Gibbs, retired Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Bill died a mysterious death in June 2008, believed to be related to Agent Orange poisoning. On Veterans Day 2008, Bill's family released orange balloons to remember those affected by Agent Orange and to raise awareness. Veterans groups from coast to coast followed the example of Becky Gibbs and her family, and at the same hour, released orange balloons, butterflies and doves.

  • My Father, David, died 15 days ago on 10-10-09 from the effects of Agent Orange. He was preceded almost 5 years ago by my uncle who died from the same illness.

They both died from from multiple organ failures and diabetes brought on by the effects from the exposure.

Ty for honoring all these men.

I am sorry for your loss. I know how it feels.

    Bill
