My friend Marisa and I used to watch this show when they would do the "normal" makeovers and we would always go "EEEEEWWWW!!!" when they would show the before pic of them as an adorable little kid and go "AAAAWWW" when they would show how they look now. So weird that our society all these years later still has not really moved beyond appearances. In fact, it seems America is even less progressive now than it was then.
