PS22 Chorus "A SILENT NIGHT WITH YOU" Tori Amos

Last video for today from a most prolific Music Tuesday! But last in this case, is certainly not least! The PS22 Chorus of 2010 got a surprise visit from one of last year's star soloists, Allie. And to give you an idea of the talent, I literally lent her my iPod with this song for about a half hour and she was ready to give the performance you see here on the first take. The girl is a marvel!

The song is "A Silent Night With You" from the brilliant new album by Tori Amos entitled Midwinter Graces. The album is sheer brilliance, and you will likely be seeing one more of its songs show up in our repertoire before long.

You mister are just incredible. What an amazing role model these children have. It must feel amazing to wake up in the morning knowing that you're going to see these beautiful people and know that its you that has given them the huge smiles on their faces :)

Allie and the kids singing Tori's 1000 Oceans ...... it won't stop being a hit for me. 1000 Oceans is quite a subtle/complex song but it was delivered so memorably, touchingly and with the gravity it deserved by Allie.

This is the first time I've heard this Tori song - like Joni she put her little twist on the Christmas Carol ... and sung amazingly again by Allie, thx

(is it me or has there not been a Christmas Carol invented since Fairytale of New York by the Pogues + Kirsty McColl?)

Love love love it, I regularly get drawn back to your videos, the chorus has totally captured my heart, and I'm always happy to discover even more videos I haven't watched yet! I fell in love with you guys back in 2007, and Allie totally blew me away with her solo part on Amazing Grace/Sublime Gracia. It's awesome to be able to watch her developmet as a singer... I hope she's gonna came back to visit the chorus so many more times, so I can keep listening to her singing! I love you all! <3
