Scott Engel was my first love way back in the 60's over 40 years later I still love him, he has the best voice ever such amazing quality and tone. I just wish he'd stayed mainstream and then he wouldn't have disappeared. I saw the Walker Bros live in Leicester I think it must have been 1965. They were fantastic!! x

I saw the Walker Brothers in 1966 and when I saw them live and heard Scott I was head over heels like many others. But to date the song 'First Love Never Dies' is very true, no one has ever taken his place.

@ruh1000 Yes they were!... In my opinion probably one of the best looking groups then... and Scott' s voice was out of this world, along with John's amazing harmonies, makes these songs ones you want to hear over and over.
