The New Pro-ject Essential turntable sets the standard for entry level turntables. Built to Pro-ject's rigorous standards and incorporating lessons learnt in the production of their high end turntables, the Essential is great value.
The Pro-ject Essential turntable is belt driven with a tracking-force gauge. It comes with a typical Pro-ject tone arm with an anti-skating weight adjustment scale with a weight support loop. The tone arm is fitted with an Ortofon OMB 3E cartridge. This Pro-ject Essential turntable is a black matt in colour with a hinged dust cover.
