Thank you for having the foresight to enact an ordinance that prohibits private ownership of wild, exotic, animals for exhibition. Please support the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries' decision to remove Tony the tiger from the inappropriate truck stop location so that he can be sent to an accredited sanctuary. This action will end the decades of complaints lodged by so many who have witnessed this disgraceful display.

Big Cat Rescue, the world's largest accredited sanctuary devoted entirely to big cats, stands ready with an enormous enclosure that is shaded by trees, full of grass, tree trunks, two caves, one set in a hill, and a pool with constant circulation of spring water. This overlooks a lake, skirted by cattails and frequented by Mallard ducks and swans. Tony will have all of this to himself and you can rest easy knowing that you upheld the law. If exceptions are made to the rules, then rules don't mean much, do they?

  • Ha! So your saying to save Tony by taking him out of a small cage and putting him in a larger prison? with pools and Caves? He is still captive, I bet you have pet cats or dogs at home and some how justify that as not being a prison as well. Free Tony into the WILD!!!! Even if Tony gets sent to your retirement home he still will not live a day of freedom for the rest of his life. You guys are just doing exactly what Tony's owner has done, refusing to let this Tiger live one day of Freedom.

  • @TheBellaHadda The only option for Tony is a life in captivity, we can provide the best life possible for him in captivity, with tiger neighbors, lakeside enclosure, QUIET surroundings, great diet, regular enrichment and veterinary care.

  • I just donated, I really love this rescue! I hope all the best for your team god bless

  • @motocarnage615 Thanks for your support! :)

  • I fail to understand why this is allowed in Louisiana.

There are laws prohibiting it in the state, yet no one wants to let the tiger go.

Just who is the owner of the truckstop paying off?

  • @suntop321 - No...he'd be begging for someone to let him feel grass beneath his feet, a pool to swim in and peace and quiet for whatever remains of his life. How'd you like to be caged for ten years, exposed to truck fumes, noise and idiots pitching cigarette butts at you? Maybe you'd like to trace places with Tony since you think his life is so good?

  • this is really sad. Just image the tiger being a house cat or domestic dog they'd immediately act. but a giant tiger? NAH

  • @AngelHHH727 Michael Sandlin Tony's owner has petitioned once more for Tony to remain at the truck stop yet again delaying the process. The Animal Legal Defense Fund is also requesting that Tony be moved to an accredited sanctuary.

  • :'(

  • so yea you guys need to be better at making the guy sick for your "SAVE BIG CATS" thing you guys make it to hmm lets say if yall are gona sabatoge the cage its better you just say what your doing it much less obvious

  • @TheBellaHadda He would never make it out in the wild, Been living in captivity to long.

  • @GhostGirl21502 He will be set free in December. Can't wait!

  • @TheBellaHadda You know perfectly well Tony can never be set into the wild. He wouldn't be able to survive on his own, thanks to Sandlin. BCR is only offering Tony a better home, and that's all we can possibly do for this beautiful animal.

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!
