how can you compare this to marvel vs capcom? This game is old as shit. Its like comparing Super Mario 3 to Mario galaxy

@hecatomb I compared them because some of the concepts the Marvel vs Capcom series uses had their seeds planted here. Hyper Attacks, Melee Combos, Marvel characters being placed in a straightforward fighting game, etc. I also compared "SVC Chaos: SNK VS Capcom" to the MVC games due to their similar concepts.

On that note, as much as I enjoyed the MVC games, I'm rather perplexed that a third installment. Then again, the Mega Man games have shown Capcom doesn't know when to let a good thing die

@ImpulseKid86 u mean u should compare Marvel vs capcom to xmen, since xmen came out before mvc1, it would make more sense. You cant compare this game to MVC1 since MVC1 wasnt even out yet

How I wish people would stop making fun of how I pronounce my O's. Especially since I DO actually pronounce my O's AS O's. It is an unfortunate afflection of my accent that they sound like R's.

Good review. I remember playing this game at a local pizza place back when I was a kid. I've wanted to play/find out more about this ever since. And the X-Men TV theme at the end--NICE touch man!

I admit comparing this game to MvC wasent so good since MvC spawned from the cross overs that capcom did with marvel first one of them being the famous X-men streetfighter ( <3 ) the characters did come from this game design . All in all good review....hope I wrte that all down correctly since im tired as hell -__-;
