  • Hi, I found and deleted "hosts" but I see other files with "host" in them, such as "hosts.20100117-173612.backup", "hosts.20100713-125533.backup", "hosts.20110903-152754.backup", and "lmhosts.sam" - should I deleted these too?

  • @danieltheguitarist Run malwarebytes

  • Wow, kid! You're amazing! It worked! How did you figure that out?

  • it didint work it says "host can not be deleted it is being used by another person???"

  • Thanks, but it still didn't work. This is really getting me down, now. :(

  • @cowboythefukup leave that file be "The LMHOSTS (LAN Manager Hosts) file is used to enable domain name resolution under Windows when other methods, e.g. WINS, fail." youtube dot com/watch?v=YGIT52jJTCA

  • Amazing kido !!!

  • Thanks!

Now, my instant prediction for Google is also working! :D

  • remember though that the hosts file is used to resolve server names to IP addresses, not too common but if something has a legitimate entry in the hosts file the service/program will stop working. just an fyi.

  • didn't work ive still got it 95p.com and mediashifting

  • Solved it! You're a kid and you're this good. Amazing...
