@SovjetPhoenix come-on u comparing JF-17-thunder fart with an f-16 which still is brilliant after 40 years.. dude its a Chinese made crap, they themselves were amazed to discover it really flew! not to mention it was rejected by the chinese fo their- AF..

@NOUMAN905 Pakistan made better jet my ass..jf-17 was an aircraft designed 4 Pakistan by china. which the Chinese themselves decided not to induct it its AF which pretty much translates its credibility.. n compare?? there is nothing to compare even a mig-21BISON with BVR can beat it hands down.. after all the Chinese themselves copy designs 4m Russia..

I just finished a school project on the Russian Federation, and I have to say they are a country in recovery and their economy is slowly on the rise. Also, the countries government is planning on becoming a technological super power, so it is possible that we could see more advanced tech coming from the Russian Federation. It would also be nice to see them develope some Environmentally friendly tech as they plan too.

i think after this project is finished we can compare it with the US hig tech jetfighter the JSF....this program takes about 100 billions dollar....i think the result may be shocking........

The JF-17 can be compared with a american F-16 but not with Russian 4th and 4.5 Generation Jets! Pakistan would even lose against India just because they're using Russian Su-33's! American, Russian and European Jets are an other Level...too high for flying Crap like the JF-17 :D

Uhm, well you're not right! Russia have a lot of Partners who buy russian Jets, Tanks, Weapons of all kinds ... by the way we have more Oil and Gas than Iran so don't think that Russia don'T have enough money. Our economy is going up since Putin became President and right now Medvedev is doing the same job! You just don't know things about Russia so stop talking about it!

This looks like a great russian jet and i hope that russia and america have a competitive airshow to a simulated combat with american and russian jets to pull of a hell of a show but i know that probably wont ever happen unless the leaders of out countries agree to do such a thing.
