  • You need to use low ash oil - there's only a few that meet this spec in the USA. See Indians212 comments below. The ESP in the Mobil 1 oil stands for "Emission System Protection" and is intended to not contaminate the diesel particulate filter or the NoX catalyst.

  • Did you use ramps? if so does the fairing get in the way of the ramps?

  • Sorry to say that you're using the wrong oil. The 320CDI engine, nevermind the cleaner bluetec variation, needs Mobil 1 5W-40 ESP Formula M Full Synthetic. The ESP Formula M is for your emissions system. You are totally off with the 15W-40 conventional. Good luck in a couple thousand miles when your motor is locked up from deposits in the emissions system.
