Late Friday night / early Saturday morning at the 2008 West Coast Ragtime Festival, pianists Andrew Barrett and Martin Spitznagel sat down and improvised some duets. Here they are playing around with Euday Bowman's famous Twelfth Street Rag on a couple of Yamaha grand pianos. Andrew is on the 9-foot concert grand; Martin is on the 6- or 7-foot grand.

This was at 1:45 a.m.

  • Fantastic

  • by far the most awesome rendition of this song on all of youtube... seriously you guys are fantastic. :D

  • u guys suck!! nah kidding u guys own

  • This is what I get for not bringing my sheet music with me! All our duets would have gone smoother had I been able to see the tune in front of me.

  • FINALLY! Some played those deferred Octaves! Now I can stop condemning Terry Waldo for never playing them and using the same routine over the years.

  • good job
