Creating a New User - Windows 7 - Pro Tools® Troubleshooting

Use this technique to troubleshoot your Pro Tools system. It will allow you to find out whether the problem you're encountering is a Global problem, or is related to just your User account. By creating a New Administrator Account, you'll be able to ascertain if the new account, displays the same type of behavior, or error messages as your usual login account when running Pro Tools. If it does not, then the problem is not a global problem. You can either continue using the new account, or try and further troubleshoot why your regular login account has issues.
