I'm not saying I dislike the Rentals, but I have another thing to say of the two: Both songs utilize the synthesizer, too.

I dislike the song now because for the bridge, they used the main riff off Berlin's 1986 "Take My Breath Away" (from the Top Gun soundtrack).

I wonder if this band ever did a souped-up cover of Kansas' 1978 hit "Dust in the Wind"? That has a beautiful violin solo.

MAYA was a fill-in keyboard player in the mid 90's who replaced petra for some odd reason. I guess matt was feeling the moronic "DIEversity" to make something work, but maya was an epic FAIL. Maya appeared on seven more minutes to add insult to injury, yet matt was dumb enough to pass over cherie westrich. 7MM failed for many reasons, thus delaying a folowup album by 10 years. We all make mistakes, but maya was an abomination.
