*Dawns POV*
I wasnt sure if I was dreaming because it seemed 2 real. I was standing by a lake and this boy was almost 10 feet away from me. I couldnt see his face though because it was kinda blurry. Then I reached my hand out 2 his and he almost took it. He opened his mouth 2 say something but then my mom voice's came from behind us in the shadow. I turned behind us and then turned back and the boy backed up. He was gone before I could blink. I felt myself being pulled into the lake by something. That was when I woke up.
"Gosh Dawn you are a deep sleeper. We've been trying 2 wake you up for 5 minutes now," My mom said. We were at the airport. Me and my sisters jamie and abby were going 2 go live with my dad until the summer. By the look on jamie's face she wish the ride would've laster longer. We havent been 2 my father's house since 5 summers ago. Our mom,Aimee, had escaped from this small town named forks,washington when my older sister abby was 1 and me and my twin jamie were just a few months old. Apparently our mom couldnt take the town anymore so we went 2 go live in New York when the divorce was final. Since then we've been visiting our dad for 2 months in forks. Well until 1 day when me and my sisters decided 2 put our foot down. After that we went with our dad,Bruce, 2 the Bahamas for 3 weeks instead. At least that was what we were doing until a few weeks ago.
"You all dont have 2 do this,you know." Mom said looking at us with worried eyes. "I can just stay here instead." Our mom remarried this guy named Adam. He was actually pretty nice. We all loved him. He was a baseball player so he had 2 move around alot.
"Dont worry mom,we want 2 do this," Abbs said smiling assuringly at mom.
Abbs is the oldest and respondsiblest 1 of us being 17. She's the best older sister anyone could ever have. She'll encourage you 2 do something just by a little smile. That's why shes easy 2 love. She's trying 2 be a good role model 2 me and jamie since mom has cancer.
"Yeah mom Abbs is right and dont forget 2 breath when we get on the plane." I said jokingly. I was the funny 1. I could make a situation eaiser just by telling a joke. Also I didnt care what people said about me and my sisters. People say when I smile its always a carefree smile.
"I'll try not 2," Mom said laughing. Our mom had laughing brown eyes and blonde hair. We all had the same eyes except abbs but we had brown hair. I guess we got that from bruce.
"We'll be fine mom," Jamie said smiling. Me and abbs ould tell it was forced but we didnt say anything. Jamie is the kindest person you will meet. I love her and will always protect her because she was kinda shy but once you got 2 know her she'll let her guard down and be as funny and carefree as I am. That's why were twins ppl!! I think Jamie was taking the move the hardest because she was afraid 2 make new friends being shy. Aimee gave us all long-hugs. She was kinda over-protective sometimes.
"And dont forget 2 listen when they give you the safety rules because I know how you can be," Mom said looking at me. See wat I mean by overly-protective?
"What? It was 1 time," I said innocently. Last summer when we were on the plane 2 meet Bruce in the Bahamas,I didn't listen the safety rules and when the flight attendants were doing a check 2 see if everyone paid attention,I didnt know wat 2 do. Unfortantly,jamie and abbs thought it was funny and told mom. And wat did I get as a welcome back present? A very long lecture from mom.
"Dont worry mom we'll make sure she pays attention," Jamie said laughing. At least she was laughing a real laugh. Mom gave us quick hugs and off we were 2 forks. While abbs was giving jamie a encouraging lesson that everything was going 2 be fine,I listened 2 my IPod. We were taking a 4-hour trip then a 1-hour small plane ride and finally a 30 minute car ride with Bruce. I was ok with them all but jamie didnt seem 2 comfortable about the last 1. That was y Abbs was encoraging her. Almost 5 hours and 12 minutes later we got off the plane and saw Bruce. He looked the same as we last saw him. Brown hair, and gray catlike eyes like abbs. Yeah he looked the same. He gave us all awkward 1 arm hugs. He looked nervous which surprises me since when we are on vacation he was relaxed. I guess living with for a year and being with ur daughters for 3 weeks were 2 different things.
"It;s good 2 see you all. You all look so different since the last time I've seen you." He said as he took our heaviest bags and put them in his crusier. Bruce was the head chief of the forks police, bring the cruiser.
