@youmirindude i like both deathcore and the original stuff. I dont understand how you can be opposed to deathcore fans becoming death metal fans.

@th1nkman Impressive knowledge of metal history! good to see some people are aware of these things!!!

This is the one song that really got me into Death. From here i got into their later albums but i still respect the humble beginnings of Death.

@Stngds9ve Like Black Metal, Death Metal arose directly out of thrash and speed metal. The bands that would first be called "Death Metal," namely Possesed and Death, both formed in 1984 on opposite sides of the country. The early Black Metal bands were also forming around this time. By about 1987 Death Metal and Black Metal were officially established as genres in their own right. Both genres share the same pool of influences but went in significantly different directions.

@Stngds9ve Listen to yourself you ignorant fool!!! I am a death metal fan and it is common knowledge that death is the 1st death metal band! the term death metal is because of this bands name!!! it may not sound like todays death metal but it is the birth of death metal do some research!!! any old skool death metallers care to enlighten this guy?

@oldskooldethwarrior Bull shit, probably a death-metal fan?
I hate death-metal and I like DEATH
DEATH IS NOT A DEATH MEATL BAND
And im a fan of trash and speed metal since the birth of that style of music

Truth, but I wasn't using it in that context.

That's respectable. Look I don't care if peeps dig the -core stuff, as long as you respect the forefathers. My main problem with bands like BMTH isn't because they aren't heavy, its that they cater to a demographic on purpose. To me, that detracts from the artistic aspect of the music. In addition, they don't sound terribly original.
DEATH makes me feel ALIVE!!

@OzzyOsbourneHateYou
lol you gotta be trolling. Go stick to your scenecore phaggotry. BMTH wouldn't even exist without this band.
