Michigan Whitetail 2009

On my way to try to tag another big buck I get a surprise, when I am driving to the family property I notice 2 does in the front yard under the apple trees. So i park out back and crawl up to the yard to take a shot on one, and thats when I noticed a decent bachelor party standing off the the side. So i wait for them to walk in there was 2 spikes, a small 6 point, and a 8 point with about 12in spread. This vid was recorded early afternoon on November 5, 2009. I ended up letting them all walk to see another day.

Glad you let them go. Remember you have to be 450 feet from any dwelling in order to hunt legal in Michigan.

You cannot hunt within 150 yards of any dwelling without the owners written permission you just cant hunt from a dwelling.

Ya - I was speaking out of my butt. I looked it up and found out you CAN hunt that close as long as you have the owners permission. Sorry about that.
