  • No way that was 25kts...there's no white caps. Try 15-17knts tops.

  • I think all the hot air you are blowing is 25 knots

  • Thanks Slopcurlew30, to be honest....I was not racing anyone and not going for performance.. 110 blades are for gales as far as I am concerned. As for control- she was perfect. I can bet you I was prob. going faster then most boats that size heeled at 15-20 degrees. I was taking her for a spin in the bay when no one else was out there....you need not take the fenders off-those details are for accountants with motor boats.

  • that was like 15knots b/c no crew that y u where heeling so much

  • Y -u- r prob. right/anemometer probably wrong. To be honest, she had heeled alot more that day.

  • For the last time- the fenders were positioned that way because I was rafted to another boat. Don't be offended, but I am well aware of fender etiquette.. i cant believe I am writing about fenders or that people actually take the time to complain about fenders.

  • Thanks for the video. Sail how you want. Fishermans reef is fine. At least you're out doing it.

  • @CaptainRahnn not even that

  • Thank you i am 23 years old and it feels good for someone to think im not an idiot sometimes

  • I have read this post before and laughed a little too - you can't tell wind speed simply by looking at the waves; the tide, wind direction and other factors affect wave action dramatically. Besides, if the anemometer was reading 25 knots he was probably in about 18-20 knot wind anyway since the speed would have been apparent wind and not actual wind speed. And I agree: sometimes its a hoot to have too much sail up and lean her over. I've been out in 35 knot winds and had a blast, reefed or no.

  • Ok why would he lie about the wind speed and why would a sailor talk shit about another sailor because he is washing the windows and laughin his ass off even the most serious racers love to be way overpowered for fun. and whoever thinks they can tell wind speed by the water is a dumbass the water doesnt instantly start rolling the minute the wind builds. Besides he is spilling air out of the main big time and still draggin the rail. oh btw that boat has a keel not a board crew doesnt matter

  • @davidisaac25 look at how much they were healing it could have been 25 knots

  • full sails in that wind.I would be affraid something would break,

  • HaHa fenders!

  • @davidisaac25 "accountants with motor boat" HAHAHAH Well put my man and a great looking rip. gotta bury the rails sometimes.

  • There are some very rude people on youtube, if they had the balls or the resources to get out sailing single handed maybe they would not feel the need to bad mouth others. That looks like you were having real fun. Nice video
