Daniel Dover runs Darby Farms, a sustainable pasture poultry farm in Walton County, Ga. The farm is entering its third year in operation, and with a delivery of 5,000 broilers about to arrive, is primed to expand. Darby Farm's main distributor, the online farmers market Athens Locally Grown, organizes a series of farmer for a day events that offers their customers a taste of the farm life. On a hot day in May, these fill-in farmers showed up to Darby Farms ready to lend Daniel a hand.
