this is the one most amazing scene in Molier that prefigures (as in retrospect) the author's legacy into the the centuries to follow and up to now. The actor here is able to let us feel how Moliere through his death was able to make himself eternal.
What a piece of work.

The film knocked me of my feet. Later in life I had the pleasure of directing this never out of time play. Quite a thrill.
And yes you can finally buy the film on DVD. Just do it !

C'est l'un des meilleurs films de l'histoire française surtout sur la scène de la mort de Molière !
