@theprodigy1600 As far as common sense concerns and of course the rest of the world Persian and Ottoman empire where characterised as the most oppresive empires seen on the face of earth. Unlike to the Alexander the Great who rightiously gained his title even persian people loved him that set them free from persian chains..I guess a lot of countries wouldnt be independent if it wasnt for them..

Alexander,as you said was a man of his time. Just as Julius Caesar/Hannibal...oh lets not forget about Genghis and Atilla who maybe did a little raiding in their time lol
But all these men, wanted to be Alexander

@druglover200 He brought civilization to the world. He liberated so many cities and so many people.
Where are you from and has your country and ethnicity offered to the world? Oh, okay you are from USA, you have 50cent and Beyonce and plan attacks like 9/11 in your own country as an excuse to invade and take advantage of natural resources.

@druglover200 A man of his time. You can still look back at somebody from back and marvel at their generalship, their leadership, how they inspire those around them, the strength of their will and ambition. You can't simply discount generations of important historical figures simply because they lived in an inherently violent world of which they were very much apart of.

He was great at killing people....so you guys can worship him all you want.

@formerutuber Alexander died shortly after constructing his empire- I think possibly within the next 10 years. It was subsequently carved up amongst his Generals I think.
