Kim has a knack of turning the most insidious or badly done songs into beautiful and electrifying twisters-'You Keep Me Hangin'On', 'Putty In Your Hands', 'Born To Be Wild', 'Shame', especially the wretched Elliman version of 'If I Can't Have You'. And Kim does this wonderful too, but always makes her versions shorter than the originals-oh well.

Forced to listen to a Kim Wilde album by my girlfriend at the time, imagine my surprise at hearing this gem on quite a good album, overall. 10/10. Better than the original by miles, Kim could finally be forgiven for the likes of "Kids In America" and "Cambodia".
