how much was it to rent a canoe? can you camp anywhere along the river or do you have to camp in designated spots only? awsome video im wanting to either go to niobrara or the missouri river to canoe, which one would you recomend?

@sadpandaclub hi! i didnt cannoe but we tubed and you can chose many diffrent places to start/stop with a wide range of times..like an hour up to 6-8hours. or probly more! but when i went the water was low!. soo early in the year is better unless you like a nice slow pace. but its an awsome place either way! saw a lot of bald eagles. and got a bad sunburn so pack your sun-screen!

@dixon771 cool thanks a lot! we do a cannoe trip every year and were thinking about the niobrara, it looks gorgeous. where did you get in at and get out at? how long was the trip? were there many people? sorry for all the questions but some information would really help?

No, not near Chadron. It starts at Valentine, Nebraska and heads mostly east. The boardwalk by the falls is a couple miles or so down the river on the south side. It is very easy to find and really gorgeous.
