I dont' know much about Bikes but sounds/looks great. I do know if ya wanna do DB test, go too a sound shop that sells Car Audio Subs Amps ect.. I bet they would have a better read on DB's just FYI LoL..

@Bugglebub ... thanks alot bro. and you ride safe and enjoy as well

Sounds quite nice. Still doesn't beat an F1 cars 160dB

yea, if you take your exhaust you do loose HP, but the great news is if you like the sound of it off and you have the powercomander you can go to 2 brothers racing and download thier 4 into 2 exhaust map ond OMG! it turned from rice burner to the rocket from hell, so i custom my ehaust so they split outward just b4 the rear tires, now the busa has lots of HP and a grrowl to scare the ppl who want to look bad ass and want to have a rev contest lol

actually I didnt think it would, but that sounds really good for no muffler...
sounds great bro. but i heard that is it bad for the engine that way. because the engine needs the back compretion. any feed back will be great. we have same bike. same color ;)

I'm sorry to say that there seems to be no clear winner in this debate. Articles covering the pros & cons of both running cans & running no cans are everywhere. Nobody can agree if it'll damage THIS engine or not. But screw it, I've had them off for 2,000 miles without a hiccup! They've said the mid-pipe causes enough back pressure that the valves are fine, and that the low pressure exit cans (mufflers) are simply for noise suppression. Enjoy yer Busa & Ride Safe!

sounds nice, but i'd be concerned about melting my shoes on those, looks like they're right where your heels are when you put your toes on the pegs where they really should be. (Though I noticed my heels rested on the zx-14's exhaust pipe) confused me because I know it's supposed to be toes on the footpeg to get the bike over and not lose toes on a sharp turn, but my heel shouldn't be on the muffler either.

I've never had the opportunity to ride a ZX14 but when my toes are on the pegs I'd have to stand up to straighten my foot enough to have my heels rest on the pipes. I'm a size 12US boot and I don't hit the pipes when riding, even in tight toe tucked corners. Thanks for the comment. Ride safe!

How long was the distance from your meter to the exhaust? And what kind of jet engine do you mean is 120db and from what distance?

Hi Petsku333. The DB meter was placed on a stool approximately 2.5 - 3 feet from the exhaust pipe exit. I pulled the DB measurements from the website: howstuffworks. Just type: "question 124" into the search bar. I have no idea what kind of jet engine was being measured or how far away the meter was. Have a good day!
