The New Genocide

Abortion truly is the new American genocide. The fact that over 50 million babies have been killed since Roe Vs. Wade in 1973 is a genocide in and of itself. However, there is also a racial component to this genocide--

More than 70% of abortion clinics are in black communities, meaning African-Americans are being targeted for abortion. Black women are only 12% of the U.S. female population but have 35% of the abortions, meaning the black abortion rate is actually three times higher than the percentage of blacks in the United States.

Furthermore, if you believe that abortion is destroying a life, then abortion is the number one killer of African-Americans. Abortion is the leading cause of African-American deaths since 1973, at about 5 times higher than heart disease.

While we must have sympathy for the women who make the choice to go through this procedure, we can't allow ourselves to say that killing an innocent child is worth it. We need to stop this genocide from continuing.

How many people all over the globe and throughout history itself have struggled through horrible childhoods and terrible circumstances to still somehow find love, kindness, joy and triumph. The answer is too many to count. If poverty and suffering was that insufferable, then a 3rd of the planet would have committed suicide by now, but miraculously, many of those people want to live. How selfish to deprive the unborn the same opportunity.

You just described my 1 month year old niece. I guess we should take her out before she learns the alphabet and walks. It is a scientific fact (emphasis on fact) that the fetus is distinctly human - different from all other fetuses the moment that sperm joins the egg. A 17 year old isn't 18, but he's still a human being. Many people are physically incapable of an upright stance also, but unfortunately for those bystanders who may be inconvenienced, the lame are also human.

Define Human, a Homo sapien distinguished from other animals by superior mental development, power of articulate speech, and upright stance. A fetus does not fit this discription of a human.
