AliceC from Los Angeles, CA asks:

"If it appears that your site has been penalized in SERP position, but you have done nothing wrong and cannot diagnose what the problem is, how do you proceed? Do you file a reconsideration, without being able to say what was wrong and what was fixed?"

  • Thanks Matt - very useful info. Meaning that we can file for reconsideration and secondly, re-register at 'Fetch as Googlebot'

Dashboard > Labs > Fetch as Googlebot

  • all the videos were recorded ages ago, they answer a tonne of questions then split each into a vid, then probably pull one out of a hat.

Anyway, ... it's the message that counts, right?

  • Im also confused, is this an old video? How did Matt manage to grow his hair so quickly?

  • Hair? Is that a wig or is this an old video?

  • very good
