Why use 6 legs for that, you could use a pair of wheels, tank belts. Well, that just a suggestion, I might be wrong coz... haven't used much of NXT

@Mazenaounallah ok.......go ahead and make a higly advanced robot.......developers are making the best they can.

I have a project with 15 marks of my total using the NXT for my computer class... this kinda gave me an idea :D thanks

I hate mindstorms so idiot!

@MVDITTECHBOOK in lego or in real life, wheels are always better than legs
-
@altamer The purpose of Guard-Bot was to demonstrate a walking robot (i.e., a robot with legs). Usually, if you're looking for speed and stability, wheels or tank treads would work better.
-
Did you do those legs because they looked cooler? I think maybe tank wheels would work better
-
This is really cool =D

Ive got your book. Is there a way that I can just download the programming for Guard bot and not acctually use the lego NXT software to program it? I already have the software.
you used the unofficial lego mindstorms nxt inventors guide, right?

That's correct. Guard-Bot comes from Chapter 15 of my NXT inventor's guide book.
