lol, the Catholic pro-lifer said it's "particularly devastating" when late-term pregnancies are terminated? Well, that implies there's a difference in degree of 'humanness' or human consciousness of a younger fetus and an older one, or of an unborn fetus and a birthed baby. That negates the core of the pro-life argument, in my opinion.

@TheJosegramirez "Am I killing? Yes." Hate to break it to you, but ALL abortions kill. No, he never admitted to "killing children," specifically, just that abortion "kills." The only difference between him and most other doctors, is that he's willing to perform late-term abortions. An undeveloped fetus can't think, feel, see, smell or taste anything. Comparing a fetus to any born, conscious person is nonsensical. I would never with harm upon strangers, myself, but to each their own; peace.

@Roseyred72 Well, if my mother chose to have me aborted, I would probably think something like: " " Yeah, thoughts of sorrow, woe and regret are pretty difficult for a person who was never born. No disrespect intended, but I find all "what if?" questions to be arbitrary and pointless. I was hit by a drunk driver recently, 'what if' I left my house 5 seconds earlier...? Doesn't matter, I was STILL hit by a drunk driver. A "what if," is always a "never was," so to speak.

I agree that there's a substantial difference between 1st trimester and a late-term abortions, but the baby, infallibly, has no consciousness or thoughts of anything. It's skin IS hypersensitive, but a baby doesn't begin to develop cognition until 2.5 years after birth. Can't tell ya the baby doesn't physically feel any pain, but it undeniably can't process it (having no cognition.) Doc's not a sociopath, that's just silly.

@guardianstouch I understand your assertions perfectly, but there's just no rational comparison. An abortion doctor can't be compared to a Nazi of the 3rd Reich, that's absurd beyond reason. Again, he's not compelling or provoking ANYONE to have late-term abortions, he's just willing to do them. I'm opposed to late-terms, myself, but the animosity is misdirected at the doctor as opposed to the women who seek him. If not for the women, (and whatever their reasons,) he wouldn't be doing this.

I think social services should also open up an office next door because I can't imagine a late term abortion on a 9! or 10! year old could be anything but CHILD ABUSE.

This also shows how easily people can justify even the most heinous crimes in their own mind. This guy has some serious moral and logical inconsistencies going on.

If you or anyone you know is in a situation where one needed at late term abortion, I am sure Dr. Boyd would see you through safely. He puts the women's lives first.
