Everquest II VS. World of Warcraft

Everquest II or World of warcraft... whats ur favorite game...its hard to choose sometimes,but i did for now...i stick with everquest ...;-)

I played WoW for six years, had a lot of fun times but just got bored with it. I originally played EQ, and had tried to switch to EQ2 but my computer didn't support it..

The community of WoW has long since been taken over by internet jocks, few seem to be interested in RPGs.. EQ2 thus far, seems to cater to a different audience of fantasy nerds, which I prefer. I'm only level 30, but am having more fun there than with WoW.. EQ2 just offers more for RPG fans.

EQ2 is a far better RPG.

There is no competition. There is no question. EQII is a superior game (and arguably THE BEST MMO currently out) for the following reasons:

-Tradeskill depth

-Character customization

-World depth

-Lore

-Graphics

-Community

There is ALWAYS something to do in EQII. Friend offline and you don't want to outlevel him? No problem, lvl away and mentor him or work on earning AAs, or level your guild, build your status, work on your house or guild hall, skill up your tradeskills.. the list goes on!

LOL you kids say wow has better graphics. Thats because your computer sucks! Try to find someone who can fully play it on extreme quality it beats World of windowlickers by FAR! Not to mention the little wow kids who like everything handed to them will never make it in everquest even with it dumbed down now its still harder and more interactive than what world of warcraft can EVER be. Not to mention wow gameplay isnt that bad but the community is what is ruining it enough said!

Everyone who plays EQ qill say it's better, everyone who plays wow will say that it's better....base it off the amount that play each game because you will never get a straight forward answer to your question.

EQ2 is not the old days but hey it's close enough in a world of war clones! im so sick of it man, i mean i love WoWs art, and i really had fun out there alone. but thats just it, it was mostly solo, and thats the thing about EQ2, so many solo, no one grps to just level and get to end game. i miss that shit! EQ2 has the adventure, TONS of content, and its damn gorgeous to look at,I am truly at home there, im still a newb to it all but so far after 100s of mmos, it's the next best thing to old EQ.

@MrMikko5000 On it's best day EVER, World of Warcraft will never have the level of depth and story as Everquest 2. The epic weapon quest line stories, the heritage quest stories, the zone stories in EQ2 are all vastly superior. I played WoW for 5 years by the way, and Everquest II for 6. Only advantage WoW has over EQ2 is PvP, and even that advantage is disappearing...

@jathgnos Im on the same boat. This was my 6th year of WoW, and it wasn't the same anymore, and now it's just boring to play and even to think about. EQ 2 is like being a 11 year old kid again (Time I started WoW). A whole new experience and loving it!

I have played both games on max settings and both games a good graphically in their own way. I like everquest's water and character detail, but it seems that alot of the environment isn't "loaded" Just a few trees and an undetailed mountain. Wow doesn't have as good of graphics, but I feel that wow's areas are alot more interesting than everquest's. Spells are much more detailed in everquest than in wow. wow just runs much smoother and in my opinion has much more content. Wow is a better game.
