Ah Lavender Town. Such a happy and quaint little town full of happy people. Oh and did I mention the main tourist attraction is the Pokemon Tower where people go and visit their dead Pokemon, where Mediums who are possessed by the devil (at least I think its the devil) roam free and the only way they can be turned back to normal is by beating them in a Pokemon Battle, and where a Mother Marowak was slaughtered and her ghost resides at the top of the Tower. Yes if your in the area Lavender Town is definitely a place you should visit. NOT!!!! Seriously this place is so scary that all it needs is dark clouds and bolts of lighting in the background. However the Music in this area has had a very historic rumored past. Most people have said that if you listen to this track a few times it will make you want to kill yourself (I'm not making this up) and some say that there are high notes in the track that only young adults and children can hear that causes them to have nausea and severe headaches. If This is true then Pokemon you have some serious Issues.

This Music is Copyright of Game Freak. I Do not own it in anyway, shape or form. Hope your enjoying Scary Video Game Music Month and remember to Like, Comment and Subscribe to hear more Epic Video Game Music.

Besides the music isn't scary. It's sad.

  • the most scary ting about this is that the background is black and white and yes this music is quite disturbing but more sad if u read the description of marowak and his mother.... so sad even though its jsut a game :O.... btw my friend told be about this and he was reading some kind of history thing and he researched marowak and cubone and apparently when marowaks mother was murdered cubone took the mother skull and used it as a helmet to hide his sorrow face..

  • I don't actually get why people think the music is scary, okay, it's weird and kind of creepy, but it doesn't actually scare me. I played pokemon r/b and know the lavender town story, but I'm just not scared. Well, apart from when I see that fucking video in the suggestions bar with the possessed jigglypuff.

  • am i the only 1 that as a kid completly ignored this music?, everytime i went there i seriously never took atencion to it, XD, didnt liked it, but it seems that it scares some ppl off so im going to put it in my room so they dont bother me XD

  • Ah, the music that every Pokemon Creepypasta humps like the last inflatable in stock D:

  • @Waltzslaugh true aha it was a hypnosis pokemon in firered that ate people XD

  • @Galukxy ok

  • @Waltzslaugh False. I think you've probably read a creepypasta or theorie where they do..

  • true or false POKEMON EAT PEOPLE!!!!!!

  • I'm 14, and iv'e heard the story about the marowak and ghost and all. (while the music was playing) When I read the description, I was reminded of it and at first I was like aww, thats sad :( then I read AZNpeopleROCK1's comment and I was almost in tears but not quite. Later though my hair would uncontrollably stand, I had chills every where and tears coming to my eye. Then I felt weak, nauseous, scared. I had to play a video of Jesus to feel better. Id say there IS some truth to the pitch rumor

  • I feel like this music would be great to go insane to. :D

  • It's the older version of the tune that had the high note- that version was replaced when some of the game's first players suffered the negative effects. It was replaced with a tune that sounded exactly the same, but the note was a little lower. Nobody else suffered from the freakish 'Lavender Town Syndrome' after the music was changed... unless they found the origional version on Youtube, but most of them were prepared so recovered quickly.
