-Beacuse if american troops were to land a grand scale invasion of Pakistan, they would find themselves fighting a country that actually has a working army.

Americans dont do that. They instead spend trillions a year claiming pointless victories over toothless goatherding bewildered ragheads with no equipment, training or civilization. For their oil and "insurgents" well.. There is no oil to steal in Pakistan.
