Some great sportscasters...Stockton, Berman, Gowdy.
-
Guess they had to do another take on that standup at the end of the BC-Miami game.
-
That was where the Super Bowl was held that year.
-
Grace Gowdy is in my class! He is her Grandpa! He is great, even though I am in all-time Yankee Fan
-
How come he knows that Dick Stockton worked at WBZ? I know the has worked in network television in the last 35 years.
-
Listen I am a rabbid Yankee fan but I will say without question Gowdy was the greatest announcer I have ever heard. He set the standard for everyone else. You sox fans were fortunate.
-
The Dolphins played in the Orange Bowl til their current stadium was built in 1987.
And if the Sports Final special about Lobel's 25 years was any indication, the 2004 Red Sox will literally take up half or more the show.
-
You know about the Red Sox, one can only wonder when 2008 comes along and WBZ-TV hits 60 years--come on now all you in Red Sox Nation--don't tell me Bob Lobel will not lead off a segment of 60 years of sports without mentioning 2004 now would he?
Oh and the Orange Bowl was I believe where Miami played some of their games--The Dolphins I mean. And don't forget the Patriots in this decade/century.
Patriots in the "Orange Bowl" in '86. Huh?
