This is a slideshow of the Battle of The Bulge Reenactment held each year in Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA.
This slideshow has been done as a tribute to my father and other infantrymen who fought and died in the Hurtgen Forest.

Why are who german nazis the guys dressed as germans? We are reenactors not nazis we portray the common german soldier we have no political association with the nazi party

Nice effort but poor content. Most of these guys are too fat, too old and too clean (as are the vehicles) to affect an accurate portrayal of combat troops.

I agree!
My Dad told me that he went weeks and months without a bath.
When they finally did get the opportunity for a shower, the clothes were thrown away as they were usually just rags.
